Australian Netballer Julie Corletto has been a Spalding Athlete since 2010. An athletic and exciting defender, Julie is a key part of the Melbourne Vixen’s Netball Team and after making her National League Debut at the age of 16, Julie has gone onto become one of the most elite netballers in the country.

Julie’s individual accolades include being awarded Best New Netball Talent in 2004. From there, she then made her Australian National debut for the Diamonds against Jamaica in 2007.

Julie’s success at the top level has continued, with the Netballer receiving the Liz Ellis Diamond Award for the most valuable player of the ANZ Championships in 2009.

However it’s not only individual recognition that has come Julie’s way, but also team success; as part of the Diamond’s Netball team that won the 2007 World Championships and as a key player in the Melbourne Vixen’s ANZ Championship victory in 2009.

Julie has an incredibly bright future both on and off the court. With her Husband Daryl Corletto (Melbourne Tigers Basketballer), they run their own sports clinics business for kids- Corletto Sports. Julie is also a qualified Physical Education and Maths teacher.

Julie has recently launched her first official netball range with Spalding.
