Backboards And Systems Delivery

Orders are sent Australia wide via a courier that we deem appropriate for your location at a rate determined by the weight and destination by either express or Tailgate service.

  • Systems and backboards under 20kg will be sent by road service.
  • Systems and backboards over 20kg will be palletised and will require access for a pallet jack to make the delivery. 
  • You will be contacted before delivery to ensure you are home. If you are not home the chosen courier will not leave the goods without signature. They will take the item back to the depot until next available delivery day.

Please note: Some basketball systems (in-ground and portable) are not available for delivery in all areas. Please contact customer service for a shipping quote for all other areas.

The Beast 60 Inch Glass Portable Basketball System gives you the stability of an in-ground, but with a wheeled base that makes it easy to move. Featuring a 60" glass backboard giving you the true rebound you'd find on the professional court and a Pro Image® Breakaway rim. The Screw Jack lift system makes it easy to adjust the height of the rim to anywhere between 7.5 feet and the league-standard 10. Resting on a 208-litre base equipped with 4 wheels, you can move The Beast 60 Inch system down the driveway without having to tilt the whole system forward.

60” Tempered Glass Backboard

Experience superior rebounds with the 60” steel framed, tempered glass backboard. Providing 37% truer rebound than acrylic this premium tempered glass backboard can take everything you give it from serious bank shots to aggressive rebounds.

Pro Image™ Breakaway Rim

Finish with finesse with the Spalding Pro Image™ Breakaway Rim. This steel rim is designed for a smooth breakaway. It has a powder-coated finish and enclosed springs for extra defence against the elements.

Easy height adjustment

The fully adjustable Screw Jack™ lift system gives players of all ages, heights and skill levels room to play. Infinite adjustment lifts can be set to any height between 7.5 feet to 10 feet (2.3 to 3 meters)

STURDY BASE DESIGN & EASY TRANSPORTATION

The four wheeled base and pull handle lets you easily move the system wherever you play.

Backboard Size

The backboard size is measured from the left to the right side of the board, ranging from 44" to 72" (107cm to 183cm). Spalding ranges boards in the following sizes:

- 72 inch / 183 centimetres (Professional level)
- 60 inch / 152 centimetres
- 54 inch / 137 centimetres
- 52 inch / 132 centimetres
- 48 inch / 122 centimetres
- 44 inch / 112 centimetres
- 42 inch / 107 centimetres
